18 mar 2004 11:00 - walking in via del proconsolo (street in the centre of florence, italy). Recorded stereo at 44100 hz - 16 bit with a digital videocamera used as a audio recorder and a compact stereo mic.

Decided to test my ability in creating sounds and samples. I recorded my own crap-tastic voice and tuned it via melodyne (highly recommend the program btw). Then threw on some simple reverb and created my own chorus effect as well and placed it on there. Hope you guys enjoy.

I used my bathroom as a live echo chamber - porting out from my pc, and then recording back via a neuman mic. I liked the tunefullness of the boiler pump in the airing cupboard, so left it running and put the mic in there. This is a very small piece of an overtone composition i made.

I've recorded this by accident. I left ardour recording on my laptop via zoom h2 and forgot about it. Meanwhile my cellphone must have communicated with the gsm network, and the zoom h2 have captured the signal. Luckily no background noise is present. Enjoy this annoying sample :).

This is the sound of attempting to uncork a bottle of champagne with a saber, but, after a few practice hacks that hit the glass neck of the bottle, accidentally cutting off the bottle at the neck. Champagne explodes out and drips onto the ground, which is grassy and dry. Recorded with a boom microphone onto a p2 card via a panasonic hvx200 digital video camera.

I just hooked up an 80's radio to my pc via the aux cord and recorded this horrifying thing whilst searching for a radio station on the d frequency. You can use it anywhere, just ask me before and/or mention the source. Or not.

An hp officejet pro 8610 printer, printing multiple pages, via direct usb drive input. The usb drive used to store the documents is a lexar micron 8gb usb 2, manufactured in china. The chinese facility responsible for the assembly of the drive lies near the mouth of the yangtze river, in the tiny, quaint village of shanghai.

Test recording using pair of nt55 omni mics mounted end to end (using modified female-to-female xlr coupler) in a blimp. Recording on quiet but breezy day in norfolk village garden: sounds of birds etc. And, towards the end, a car going past. Recorded via sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d. No processing except normalising.
