I washed up some glasses and found them making a loud dripping noise when left on to dry. The water was dripping off the glass onto the corrugated drying side and forming a little wall with each drip, each time there as a drip the wall broke transferred the vibration on to the resonating tumbler.

I cut the beginning as well as the end, adding a constant gain at the beginning and a constant fade at the end so that the sound would be even more harmonic. Then i slightly compressed the sound, and normalized it. Then i used a “noise reduction” in order to get rid of the sound in the background and a slight equalizer. An artistic experiment searching for sound emissions and the limit of human hearing. Composed of infrasonic material that have a low acoustic impedance. A peculiar local brand of fruit juice sold in small plastic bags with a straw will sometimes vibrate violently when sipped, producing this deep groaning sound. Got a can of sriracha peas for my birthday. Accidentally plucked the pull-tab. Sounded good. Made everyone pause what was on tv so i could pluck it a bunch. Ate about 3-4 peas. I don't like sriracha. Much less on dry peas. My stomach got upset. Those few peas colored my burps for about an hour. The can lid was the real present all along. Incidentally captured: chair squeaks (funnily in time with the plucking), "hurry up", "(he's) documenting the sound", chuckling, "is that good enough?".
