Summer afternoon sounds at denver, colorado's union station water sculpture plaza, with children playing. Sitting and facing to the southeast, toward the center of water installation, with its alternating flying arcs of water. Recorded at 24/96 using a sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural mic set with 12vdc battery box and a sound devices mixpre-6. Initially uploaded as redbook audio, but the 96khz seems to have the best spatial clarity and so i'm resubmitting this now without that downsampling step, for those who download.
The river wid in essex, uk. The recording includes three nearby locations. The hydrophone (aquarian audio h2a) was lowered into the water and either held mid-water or allowed to sit on the river bed. I used a zoom f6 for the recording.

After an august rain, there was enough water rushing downhill toward a golf course that it may be a bit hard to tell it's water. It might be softened up by reducing volume and used as a background. Some birds are audible. Coudburst, yes.
A towel heavily soaked in water being wrung out into the river. Irritatingly there's a hint of birdsong in the background. Recorded using a sony pcm m10, as part of an evocation of laundry activity in rural india.
Many penguins are swimming in the water. Some of them cry. ( i don't now how i say this in a better english ). You can hear water, penguins and some other birds. I record this sound in the zoo of leipzig / germany with a zoom h2. .

Thunderstorm recorded in appalachian ohio. Twenty minutes in, the rain becomes heavier and the water overflows the gutter, hitting a metal air conditioner.
Recording from a concert. A full choir and small orchestra, plus 100 audience members. The performers sat down between movements and all took a drink of water. The audience did too, and some light whispering occurred. Stereo recording at 24bit and 96khz.
An earthenware (ceramic) vessel submerged under water. The vase has been fitted with a contact microphone and the sound is produced by air escaping its pours as they are filled with water. The item is made from the clay sourced from the spring.

Water dropping on tile and metal drain randomly, with a distinct rythm that slows down towards the end of the file. Recorded with zoom h4n embedded mics, quickly edited on protools for gain, noise reduction and artifact removal. Still a little noisy, though.
