We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. Raw unedited recording of harsh metallic tinking sounds caused by a hot metal plate being hit by water droplets. The plate was hot enough to induce a leidenfrost effect preventing most of the water from boiling and sizzling away leaving mostly the impact sounds.

Here is a recording i made of my toilet flushing. I used 3 microphones, one placed in the bowl, one place on the cistern and one placed about 2 feet away from the toilet. This recording was taken on dangar island shoreline. It features the gentle lapping ocean on the beach with the occasional jumping fish. The recording was taken with a tascam dr-44wl and the onboard xy mic pair. Post recording the sound was cleaned up a bit with rx spectral de-noise, and then normalised.

Designed 5. 1 ambience of the cockpit of a small research submarine cruising submerged. Featuring small engine noises, electric ventilation and the steady gurgle of water passing the hull.
