Recording that i took on a mountain in dieng (indonesia). There was this long, strange kind of grass in which the wind sounded amazing. At least i think. :).

Recorded with sanken css-5 microphone and sound devices 552 recorder. This is m-s microphone, that have its own decoding matrix with 2 variants - normal and wide. I had choose wide mode and directed the mic in the ground, and i got this interesting effect with accented sides.

Recorded on a beautiful spring day on a trail with high oaks overhead. You can hear the wind blowing through the treetops, the low grass blowing, and random insects on the ground.

In the garden of an old house in dreux, france, on a warm july day. Some footsteps in the dry grass, then still. Birdsong, a little bit of wind at the start, a buzzing insect. Recorded on a stereo zoom h2, slightly filtered to take the edge off the wind sounds.

At a baby shower and there are these awesome paper pom poms that sounded so amazing when you dragged them over your hand, like wind rustling stiff grass or dry leaves. Lots of variants of speed, direction to give you motion options in the stereo track. I'm sorry about all the wind pops, but if you're okay with a mono track, there are clean passes on both right and left. Recorded on a tascam-dr-40 and cleaned up in audacity. Production-now. Sound from near my flat (great barr birmingham uk) at around 4am. There are various bird sounds within this file aswell as being able to hear the m6 motorway in the distance (i did try to accent this by pointing the mic in different directions). There are also 3 types of footstep sounds, grass, dirt with stones, concrete slab. My wind shield isnt the best so hopefully you can find some use of the sounds!.

Sounds of annoyed crows and grackles can be heard periodically in the distance, and the ambient sound of water through the gutters and downspouts is also prevalent. Recorded with a tascam dr-60d and two behringer xm1800s dynamic mics. Post processed with amplification and mid eq boost in audacity.

I recording made near some woods of the wind ebbing and flowing on an unusually mild day in late november of 2013. What i find unique about this recording is a lone cricket calling out at various times of this recording. . . Makes for a nice, almost melancholy feeling. It is almost like the cricket is not quite ready to hide away for the winter and is taking advantage of a rare 70-degree november day to call out as if to say "hey, i'm still here, waiting. . . In the grass. ". With headphones on, works wonders in clearing your head. . . Recording made at 6:30 at night with my handy / zoom h4 n recorder using the internal microphones, and of course using a very very stout wind screen. Enjoy.

Simulation of leaves rustling. I needed a sound that didn't also include the wind/breeze because i prefer to layer different elements. When i found a dead plant in the basement of my apartment building, i took the opportunity to record some light rustling sounds. Recorded on may 04, 2021. This is the sound of a viking electric lawnmower in action; mowing a piece of lawn. Today i got my audio equipment. This is my first contribution. When i was walking around today to catch sounds, i met a man who was mowing his lawn. I asked him if i could record him while he was mowing his lawn. He agreed and i was allowed to record him mowing. It's a viking electric lawnmower. Description: a man mows the lawn with an electric lawnmower. He drives the lawn mower over a piece of path to the meadow, mows and drives the lawn mower back. At the beginning of the recording, there is a short question asked if he should start now, which i confirm. The recording is unedited.
