Train passing on top of the auckland domain pedestrian underpass. The tunnel is a highly reverberant space and as the train goes by it creates sounds that resembles the orchestral percussion, timpani. Background noise: birds. A recording i made using my 3dio binaural microphones (and zoomh1 as the recorder). Set up the tripod near the door to my balcony. You can hear the wind against the house, rattling a little in some places. Rain comes and goes, against the glass door. Some cars can be heard outside, on the wet concrete. Recorded on thursday, 24th of february in noord-holland, the netherlands. Feel free to use this for any project you might have, and a mention is always appreciated.
