This is a small guitar riff, sampled with the loop function on a line 6 dl4 pedal, then pitch shifted and reversed with the same tool. Recorded straight on the daw with a sm57.

This was an experimental recording session, using two tape recording machines. This is take - 1 or track - 1 of 3, with the end result making a 3 track recording.

From frederick noad's book: 'idiots guide to playing the guitar. ' noad plays it so beautifully, i could never match him, but i just wanted to try it with the electric instead. Recorded with my squire tele and squire bass into the focusrite interface. The guitar went through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting with editing done in reaper. (shout out to kenny gioia for the tips). Bass was run through my behringer bxl 1800 bass amp and through the interface. Both instruments were triple tracked. Sounds of the anordam, an experimental instrument that plays a 10-tone scale which consists entirely of perfect fractional divisions of the octave. The highest interval in the scale is 1/2, which means that for a given a value, half the octave will be left out of the scale.

An acoustic loop i recorded and added some slight effects too. Kind of reminds me of a lick that might be used for a mobb deep style hip-hop track.
