I recorded this sound of a metal cut-off wheel saw. It is cutting some metal. It is perfect for a horror story.

A heavy goods-train enters an empty station and breaks. Another train is pushed around a bit. You hear the creaking of the metal, the breaks squeeking and general metal-on-metal mayhem. Some background noise from cars and some birds tweeting in the background. Recorded using a sony pcm-d50.

This is a recording of myself banging a garden chair, an old table and a ladder together to create an earthquake element. It is completely raw, so no processing has been done, no eq, nothing. I recorded this in my living room with my trusty sennheiser mkh 416, straight into an mbox mini and into pro tools.

This is a recording of a metal desk creaking with very little movement. I recorded this sound, amplified it, and removed the white noise. That's the only processing this sound has gone through. Accidentally dropped my glasses in the middle of recording. Tascam dr-05x placed above doorway in narrow hallway, gain set at 80, distance of impact from recorder is about 8 feet.

Pouring pellets into a bowl: here cat food is being poured into a metal bowl. You can hear the crackling of the bag, the metallic clatter of pellets hitting the bowl. Different temp’s can be found due to the speed in which the pellets were being poured. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.
