I had a sound on my digital recorder. It had some sort of harbour feeling. To amplify that feeling i used pkoracs recording of "marina in kolding (denmark) in wind". So part modular synth part field recording. (https://freesound. Org/s/90721/).
Tweaked an extractor fan in audacity using reverb and other effects to create this clip. Sounds like an submerged submarine propeller a little. Hopefully you'll find an appropriate context for it.
I used audacity and text-to-speech to recreate a voice line spoken by the cybermen from the 1967 doctor who episode "the moonbase". The video clip is available in the public domain. Transcript:. For a podcast project i needed some coffee related sounds so i recorded our techni-vorm moccamaster, filter coffee machine as it brewed a full pot. Our version has a metallic thermos jug rather than the standard glass jug. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Lowpass filter nothing above 500k. Ran a limiter on it -1 db so your speakers are safe!audio technica pro 37 24bit 44. 1 mono.
This is a 4 mic recording taken inside a pachinko parlor in akasaka, tokyo. There are so many loud machines and the background music is so loud that you can hardly make out individual sounds and the entire space is just a wash of noise. If you listen closely to this one you can hear some of the individual balls dropping. (when you play pachinko, you win metal balls which can be exchanged for cash later. ).
