I forgot what i used for this specifically. Listening to it it kind of sounds like a ball hitting the ground, although that wasn't what i used to create it.
A normal sized table-tennis ball was dropped from a moderate height and then recorded with a zoom h6 recorder, using the xy capsule, till it no longer bounced.
I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect.
