I created another file to play when you don't recognise a telephone number that calls you, this time the people in the hoax have scottish accents and the music is deliberately degraded to make it scratchy, tinny and annoying. I was inspired by those nasty auto-switchboards you encounter now whenever you call anywhere, my thoughts were that if a spam caller conected to an auto-switchboard hopefully they would remove your number from their listings thinking it a business (most scammers and spammers only want to call residential numbers). Please enjoy using this to annoy the hell out of those bothersome spam callers. The music is royalty free for personal use.

I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. Here the membrane is stroked by a wooden pestle, making quite annoying sounds. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.

Loud, high-pitched squeaking noises made by scraping a sharp fork inside a polished ceramic bowl. The result is very unsettling, like nails being dragged down a chalkboard.

Very annoying high pitched alarm. This is a one of the results of my attempt to complete a school assignment. We were supposed to create an alarm clock or a ring tone with audiogen synthesizer. I went with as much annoying sound as i managed to produce.

I'm not sure why i had called it a "song". It's just a really old recording of me saying "omnom" repeated and layered on top of each other. It's annoying, and that's all it is.

A horrible sound for a contest, created by paulstretching the sound of an old photo-slide scanner six times, then slowly layering it on top of itself up by a semitone every second and adding reverb. Please comment on where you intend to use the sound, and feel free to post a link to the work where you used it if you want (i enjoy watching/listening to anything you create!). A wasp buzzing around a room.

This is a short wavefile of really bad drums and a crying baby. To be used properly, it needs to be turned way up. This sound has a story behind it - i made this up for one purpose, and one purpose only - to temporarily blast my long-term loud neighbors into realizing that 'they' are now the victims. They "were" relentless at playing loud music continuously, and it was a hot humid day,no air-con, and i had a lot of wine. That's all it took - so i blasted them(at an amazing close range)with 200+ watts of drums'n'babies, just long enough for them to figure out that this just might continue, and that it isn't a nice sound. Bottom line - the technique was highly effective.

Or if you need barking ranch dogs and a fairly close barking coyote, there is lots to lift out. Translate what they are saying to each other for ridiculous videos. "give me a chicken. " "no. No. " "we know you got chickens. We'll split them with you, 60-40. " "no. No no no no no. No. ".

A sound of someone doing a sigh, no edits.

I recorded the sound of my alarm clock using a zoom h4n recorder and a rode m3 microphone. I can picture this sound being used at the start of an audio documentary that discusses the morning routine of someone who has to wake up early everyday. Maybe even the start of a film; this loud and obnoxious noise is an instant attention-grabber.
