Hey, guys, i know it's been a while, but i'm making up for it with another cool sound effect - this one is a field recording during a rain storm. The track was recorded at one of the last visits of a soviet tupolev tu-154m to prague-ruzyne airport. The plane was owned by slovakia government at that time. By dec 31, 2017 the aircraft, which was the last active tupolev tu-154 in eu at all, has been retired. After that the plane was not wrecked luckily, but went to aviation museum of kosice, slovakia :-) for recording i used a canon eos 6d with a mounted sennheiser mk-400 (mono) mic.

I steve reiched a 'tune' i made with the celeste sample from my edirol orchestral plug-in and i think it makes good atmospheric music for a variety of things, depending on where you are in the track. It only really gets going from about 1:35 but after that i think it makes good fairy tale, horror, meditation, relaxation and mystical/cosmic soundtracks.

Surround recording of a hiking track in the biokovo mountain national park in croatia. Good, clean mediterranian summer-atmo, ideal for motion-picture or broadcast work. It is noon, very hot and sunny and millions of crickets are chirping. In the distance, some goat-bells can be heard, otherwise the place is deserted. Recorded with a zoom h2. This file contains the rear channels, recorded with 120° dispersion.

This is a high-quality stereo recording of the ambient noises inside of a quiet swiss train wagon while travelling at high speed (around 200km/h). You can hear:- how the wagon rolls on the tracks. - the squeaks and cracks of the wagon. - very faint voices from other passengers in the same wagon.

Explosion sound. The explosion sound was a mixture of a the initial explosion, the a wind sound that may be heard when there is an explosion and the rumble effect that would also be picked up on. I had to re sample all of these separate operator sounds and then put the audio track in a sampler the add some final touches. These included large hall reverb and utility for the large impact explosion and rumble sound as well as panning, reverb and delay for the wind sound to give it the effect of traveling around a surrounding area with the sound slowly decaying.

Five rakes of a large wind chime recorded in the studio. I was producing a track for a singer / songwriter who has a beach type song and we needed some effects to add to the atmosphere and wind chimes was one of a few. This is a clean recording. You can use this in all kinds of outdoor samples etc. I recorded five passes for a few different chimes. This recording is unprocessed and has not been edited. I created the beat using ableton. I recorded the guitar part on my fender strat, useing warping ableton to tighten up my playing. I used a peavey mic (away from comp will check model when i get home) going to a fast track ultra audio driver. Please credit me if you use it.

Sounds generated by assigning the "wave out" or "line out" signal of the soundcard to a track in fl, and turnin it up. This acts as a digital delay effect with infinite feedback and a very high cycle rate. Basically the noise (similar to pink noise) is produced by the soundcard and the resonance is produced by the low pass filter and the convolution reverb mapping of the waldassen cathedral.

The thunder is in the distance and slowly moves away, fading as the track goes on. Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

Whenever i'm bored i tend to beatbox, so i decided to multitrack myself one day in the hopes of creating a full song out of it. I never did finish it, so i've included this and another loop of my multi-tracked vocals in this pack. If you use it leave a comment to let me know where i can hear what you did with it!.

This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.

These sounds were created from xpand!'s sitar sound font and musescore's clave sound font. They were used in an ambient track simulating the sounds of exploring an ancient egyptian tomb. This could be used as a transition, when discovering treasure or a secret passage, or any number of events that need an egyptian or middle-eastern flavor. No need to credit me for this sound, but feel free to let me know how it was useful for you in the comment section below.

This is pink noise, made with audacity program. I decided to record this in a stereo track and i made this noise for 74 minutes long. The effects i chosen for this sound are fade in and fade out only, with the amplitude of pink noise sets to default settings. You can use this sound for your relaxation session, or if you have problems with tinnitus. For a best experience, you can use headphones. Enjoy it, it's my first sound i created.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.

Direct recording of my jackson sl-3 soloist electric guitar through a line 6 pod x3, using its internal reverb effects. (large hall reverb with decay at 99%, or maybe even 100% for that endless washed out effect).

A drain after a water flow: the water seems to build up a physical-mechanic surface tension kept mass in the tube, opens and closes this bubble-entity producing a specific rhythm in the plughole resp. The drainage pipe. It pulses with various plops and splashs, starts off with a firework kind of beat but then one hears a differentiated rhythm of 4-strokes sequences with slugs before these etc. Getting slower. Many minutes later it ends (beyond this track). The (hearable) cut is just the censorship of a small abortive piece -- left in to document the recording as recording.

This is a great recording from my digital police scanner of the atf and u. S. Marshal's doing a short, but detailed road surveillance here in houston. The atf starts out talking about a place to meet, then they follow the target suspects vehicle. Once they lose sight of the vehicle, they decide to let the marshal's signal device, planted on the vehicle, track it the rest of the way. This is a fine example of the new p25 digital (some encryption used) radio system that many federal and local law enforcement departments are starting to use. Enjoy!.

Near where i do many of my favorite nature recordings there are train tracks which can ocassionally be very busy -- and yes, sometimes they have interfered with some of my nature recordings. But, recently i recorded the sound of the approaching train carrying loads of coal. It was around dusk and breezy -- melancholy combination. . . . I really love the echo of the whistle. . . . And as i listened i could not help but think about 100 years ago when trains were more common, amazing how things change. Well, here it is. Kvgarlic.
