This is a nice little study written by guillermo gomez and is from frederick noad's book 'the idiot's guide to the guitar. ' it's a great book and don't let the title fool you. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony sound forge. Sorry it's not the best recording (too much hiss and bass) and i may do it over. Please comment on what you will use it for. A recording of my acoustic guitar. Edited in soundforge to cover up any yucky distortions due to my lack of skill. I was remembering a song composed by a classmate from many years ago, but i played the end completely different from how he originally made it.

In this record you can hear the noise of the chain of one bicycle being pedaled. Is like a hum. It is a sound object used in the sonic ensemble soundscape for the sound creation lab project. It was recorded using a zoom h4 recording device at roc boronat street, barcelona. The recording was edited with a fade in and out effect.

This loop would be really good for a trance song or something. I'd like if you tell or show me what you do with this, i like this one.

This is the sound of the short part of guitar strings plucked over the headstock, between the nut and tuning pegs. They do not make for any particular sounds, harmonies or melodies, just random tones which may be used for some sound design, noises, jingles etc. I recorded this for my own purposes (game sfx) with 3 different guitars (see the other 2 files as well) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy! ;).

A short and simple tapping riff. All guitar tracks were recorded with an ibanez rg7321 plugged directly into an m-audio fast track pro. I used cubase as my daw and plugins by tse audio and lepou for overdrive and amp simulation, respectively, some stock cubase plugins (eq, compression, delay, etc. ) and some drum hits were added using superior drummer.

This could be used (for example) as a sci-fi bed or other background. This sound was created using a guitar recording, modified with the usss tools for the pure data programme. I granulated it and did other things but i can't remember what.

Simple type of chord progression, low gain type of distortion with a mild flange effect. Probably good for a break or intro but could be used for more if broken up. Changes tempo and tone near the end into something completely different.
