Recorded with gibson les paul using p90 pickups into ableton with minor processing.

I hit the body of the guitar while holding a d chord shape (in standard tuning). You will hear the chord trailing and fading out after the guitar hit.

This is my first sound on freesound, so don't mind mistakes, please. The sound is free to download and use, so don't worry. Send me a link if used. :).

A short and simple tapping riff. All guitar tracks were recorded with an ibanez rg7321 plugged directly into an m-audio fast track pro. I used cubase as my daw and plugins by tse audio and lepou for overdrive and amp simulation, respectively, some stock cubase plugins (eq, compression, delay, etc. ) and some drum hits were added using superior drummer.

This could be used (for example) as a sci-fi bed or other background. This sound was created using a guitar recording, modified with the usss tools for the pure data programme. I granulated it and did other things but i can't remember what.

This is an original composition i created in sibelius 6 using traditional music theory guidelines ( i. E circle progressions, chord progressions, aba structure. )the instruments used to create this are : chords - acoustic guitarmelody - electric guitar-xbkyboox xd.

This is a small guitar riff, sampled with the loop function on a line 6 dl4 pedal, then pitch shifted and reversed with the same tool. Recorded straight on the daw with a sm57.

I thought that i would record some slide playing on my acoustic guitar, and then cut the entire thing down to make up some licks and notes that people can use. I have used noise reduction, because there was some noise.

This is a nice little study written by guillermo gomez and is from frederick noad's book 'the idiot's guide to the guitar. ' it's a great book and don't let the title fool you. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony sound forge. Sorry it's not the best recording (too much hiss and bass) and i may do it over. Please comment on what you will use it for. After hours of searching for the sound of a guitar hitting the ground, i resolved to just recording a quick piece. This is a small sized guitar hitting the ground a couple times on a carpeted floor (recorded in logic pro).
