This is a recording of a jack russell growling from a close perspective. This is a mono recording which i've done with a beyer m88 into a sonosax mixer recorded into a zoom h4n.
While i was trying to record other sounds my yorkshire terrier came in and got right in front of the microphone. I enticed her to bark. Funny thing is that she often will sneeze when i give her the bark command. This file is a bit of both.
I recorded my small house dog being scared. She's always scared for whatever reason and decides to whine. It is a very interesting sound because it almost like she's growling.
