Recording of a thunderclap with my zoom h2n, not bad for the cheep machine. . . Original recorded in ms but converted to stereo for you. Another sample is uploaded in ms if this is better for you.
Thunder recorded in the philippines, 2013. Would have been perfect if it hadn't tripped the car alarm, audible around 0:08. Recorded with a zoom h1, 48khz/24bit.
Dry thunder clap with no accompanying rain. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in adobe audition. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.
Four thunder claps from a line of storms that passed through owensboro in western ky dec 10 2021. Recorded with a rode ntg4+ and sony pcm-d50 at 96khz and 16bit depth. Sorry but i did not edit the clipping - which is not really that bad.
Two distinct claps of thunder. The third clap was a once in a lifetime capture as the lightning can be distinctly heard as it splits the nearby air. I recorded this in flat rock north carolina atop pinnacle mountain. I've geotagged the location.
This is a recording i made using a thunder drum and a bunch of other effects. Enjoy and just send me a message/comment if you use it for something. Thanks.
The sound of thunder in the distance. Recorded on a zoom h1. I was quite pleased to get thunder with no rain as, understandably, the two usually go together.
