This is a narrated soundwalk around the ucla quad. In this walk, i started at the fountain at the front of the quad and then walked into tunnel in front of royce hall, by the end of the recording, i am at the center of the entrance in royce hall.

This recording was made at 8:00 pm. The crows were still active and the sprinkler was still on. The distant innaudible noises are from unknown people, and the crickets were alive and active.

This field recording was recorded in the suburbs of los angeles, with crows singing all around me, and planes roaring above.

Recorded on 13/10/2008, at los angeles international airport (lax) at a united airlines boarding gate (can't remember which one), los angeles, usa. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, without a windshield. File has not been modified, only cut short from a longer recording.

I began my express bus ride at venice and vermont. I proceeded to record my soundwalk for exactly one minute as i rode to venice and normandie. I sat on the top row in the middle of the bus where the two parts of bus are connected like an accordion. I narrated what i heard throughout my journey.

The sound of a quiet street at 6pm right near an entrance to griffith park in los angeles. I heard some men carefully working on a construction project and recorded this sound. You can also hear some neighbors chatting nearby.

To my right but also behind me were the boarding gates for the airplanes. I used wavepad for osx to boost the volume.

I was staying in west hollywood for about a week-and-a-half, and the parade was right outside of my airbnb! recorded using a field recording app on my galaxy s5 phone in my shirt pocket. All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges.
