A short 170bpm rhodes jam with plenty of space either side for cutting and looping. Made using the mrray vsti with added delay and reverb effects and sequenced in madtracker ii.
The sound produced from a guitar amplifier by touching the tip of the input cord to various parts of the guitar. This had moderate reverb and chorus effects on.
3 instruments with:1: bassoon with oscillator and diminuendo and panoramization with square roots and oscillators2: noise3: panoramization of both channels, with and without harmonics, with lines.
Recorded on an ipad. Seems to be some background noise being picked up. Not many people on this train so i took a recording of arrival into oct station.
Winter wind in the phone-lines alongside a disused railway, now a footpath. Reeds and bushes whispering. Open, flat fields around. Zoom h1 using on-board mics.
Realised to my dismay that this sound was not available. A card tapping and scraping on a ceramic plate. Designed to imitate the noise of cocaine being cut up. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 in a 4m square kitchen. Tea towel was placed under the plate to cut out an excessive noise from the plate itself. Recorded with a low frequency cut off at 80hz.
Was messing around on the piano and started fingering this line. Switched it over to bass. Combination of two basses and some plucking sound: all just sound card midi sounds. Tweaked the bass deeper with audacity. Peace out and enjoy.
Frequent tube riders may be familiar with the hum that happens between two stops, (i can't remember which two. ) for a moment, it gets a little too loud and freaks you out (around the 1:40 mark). The rest is just tube ambience. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h4n.
A steel ruler and small screwdriver was scraped against each other to make it sound like something was sharpened. A zoom h6 recorder was used, using the xy capsule, in a garage.
