A 90s trance / chillout vowel pad. Several layers recorded from various vst synths stacked, resanpled and seasoned in the sampler. No hardware involved and all materials are neither vintage nor rare ;-).
Late morning in early autumn outside the village of sayda in the east german erzgebirge forest area. Birdsong, some frogs, forest noises and a distant highway can be heard. Recorded with a zoom h2, 90° dispersion.

Field recording made at the south side of the lincoln memorial in washington d. C. Recorder is facing the tidal basin to the southeast, with ohio drive and it's traffic in the mid-range. Recording conducted in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.
