This is a slow version of the s. G. I. Buddhist mantra nam myo ho renge kyo. It was recorded by me with my voice and a bit of echo and reverb using the audacity program. The recording device used was my computer windows xp with a very low-end microphone. I downloaded a free audacity recording program.

Birds singing and chirping at dawn in the suburbs, a few cars passing in the distance. Noise is a bit high. Recorded with zoom h6 with ms mic. Caught many kinds of birds in the distance, too, including a duck and a rooster.

Chilling out to bach's brandenburg concerto no. 1 suddenly filled with inspiration. Took a slightly distorted endorphin. Es furthrrrr generator and passed this through various bits of kit, landing on morphagene. Enjoy!.

Stretched sound, good for video games. I made the original sample in fruity loops using the reverse effect on a basic software sample sound. After that i used paul stretcher effect in audacity to stretch everything up and give it a longer feel. Also added little bit of dellay and reverb after stretching it.

Beginning of an arrangement of afro blue using a 5/4 time signature. Piano (roland xv5080 + studiologic sl73 controller), bass (sadowsky 5 string), bongos (toca percussion). Recorded to sd card using a zoom r16 digital 8-track (44. 1khz, 16 bit wav format). Mixed using goldwave.

Water is being poured in and out of assorted ceramic and glass bowls, jugs or bottles. I left a bit of the container's own noise in, such as cork bottles plopping or the filled container being slid over a wooden table, for all your bartenders needs :p a lovely chuckling bottle is somewhere by the end.

A small collection of gurgles from a small water dropper/pipette. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

A sound i thought i could hear in my mind and i thought i might be able to find, but decided to go out and create this one. We went out and literally hit metal rulers against a metal staircase handrail, and then went into audacity and reverberated a copy underneath the sound, and tweaked it a bit to add the lasting effect.

Very short tick. This is a sound i found on my forest recording. Something must have fallen on my mics. It made a very nice, clean and natural tick sound. I cut it out from the ambient sound normalized, made a little fade-out and saved as 24-bit flac. The original recording was 96khz/24bit.

This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.

It's a recording of a firework candle going off. The candle bursts near the end of the recording, before burning out. Recorded with zoom h2's rear mics at 96khz/24bit on a mic stand. Denoised, normalized, truncated and converted to 16-bit flac using audacity.

I stopped on my way into work for a minute to record the sounds coming from a hedge. There's birdsong, a bit of traffic and you might be able to sense my awkwardness as i stood on the side of the street pointing a little electronic device towards a bush. Olympus ls-5, internal mics, no filtering.

Made this just walking on the road near my house, no car passings. There's a bit of gravel on the road kicked up from car tires. I just recorded this with my phone so it's not a perfectly clean recording (as far as background noise).

A bit of spooky music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I made some chords and tones with an organ-sound with a lot of delay and effects on it. I recorded this for a pinball game i worked on. It's a sound of a marble dropping onto a table and then rolling around for a bit, finishing in the marble dropping into a hole (falling onto the carpet). It's meant to simulate the sound of a pinball being put into play on a pinball table. Enjoy!.

A field recording of a semi-rural stream and cicadas. The cicadas life cycle means that in some years they are particularly abundant. The recording was taken with a tascam dr-70d (internal mics) and very little processing (only high pass filter to remove location rumble) 24 bit 44. 1 khz.

I modified a sound i found on here (it was labeled as "cc0" or public) to give it a bit of a psycho sound. The original user is "memz" and the title they made is "thriller score horror scene". This is the announcement made inside a sanisette (a self-cleaning, high-tech street toilet found throughout paris) when the door opens after pressing the button to go in. The mechanical noises are unavoidable because the announcement is triggered by the opening of the door. Recorded with zoom h4n built-in mics / 94 khz / 24-bit stereo.

Recording of builders preparing a construction site near my house for new development by breaking up a parking lot with a large jackhammer or percussive drill. Recorded from the next lot over, so there is a fair amount of ambient noise (e. G. , from nearby traffic), but the bits with the machine cut through that pretty well.
