Simple guitar riff. Done for my coursera "sound processing for musical applications" course.

This is a piece i wrote this morning and recorded on my zoom h2n. A fan is running the background. I think this piece just has a cool acoustic, outdoorsy morning type vibe.

It's a guitar recording. I changed the pitch to e low, the frequency is 79. 8 hz with audacity. There is an effect of fade out.

I don't really know how this effect is called. This sound is made from guitar. It had nylon strings and when cleaning string i created this sound.

I had read that some bluegrass musicians tune their guitar strings to dadf#ad because it makes playing that style of music easier. But what does it sound like? this is the sound of each string being plucked and then an "open drop" strum, with no frets held down. It was synthesized using the program 'sox'. If you have a unix machine (gnu/linux, apple macos) with sox installed, you can recreate the sound by running these commands:. Sox -n pluck. Open a (5th) and d (4th) strings in a chord. Sounds like a d 5th chord when used with e 5th.
