Material from a waldorf q processed in live with a waldorf dpole, the uad helios69 eq and neve compressor. Gritty low fi shifting, high frequency lfo on a bpf. Hard digital distortion effects. Highest sample rate and quality of recording for this style of effect.

Distorted kickdrum: used ohmicide, camelphat 3 and some equalizers.

Kick made in caustic, layer of about 5 kicks. Tuned and leveled just right, also eq'd to a sweet point.

A simple 303 loop (not an actual 303, it's the nekobee softsynth). I recorded it in fixed point with a much too high input volume, so it was very distorted. It sounds kind of cool. You may use this sound for any purpose without attribution.

Samsara ekd was used for the kick, sent through eq and a couple of distortion plugins. Black noh snare was used for the snare, with a resonator and reverb placed on top of it, as well as eq and compression. Hcx was used for the hihats, with one eq plugin placed on it. The master channel got brickwalled (or bricked) using compressivecm vst.

A rawstyle like kick i use in my recent project, made from an 808. Feel free to use it in anyway you want. I would appreciate a note where you use it but its not required. Enjoy! :). The raw data is result of this command in my linux command line shell:. Cat /dev/sda1 > my_hard_drive. Then the file my_hard_drive has been imported as raw by audacity sound editing program with attributes:. Signed 16 bit pcm with no byte order 2 channels (whatever. . . ) stereo, 44100 hz. This sound differs from that which can be played just by command "cat /dev/sda1 > /dev/dsp" - this last command plays sound through speakers instead of writing a file. The sound is closer to sound of 56k modem. Later i will upload it (i've just connected line-out of sound card to it's microphone slot).

This is record from line-out of soundcard connected to microphone in, when command "sudo cat /dev/sda1 > /dev/dsp" is running in my linux command line shell. Sounds really close to modem 56k. Unfortunately i've written it into 128 kbit mp3, so this is result of back conversion into wave.

Yamaha tx81z initialized with mild adjustments, run through a korg ea-1. Mixed with a behringer, with fx sends going to a chorus pedal and a distortion pedal. Sampled with the mpc. Sounds similar to dirty guitar or an electric violin. 44. 1k, 16-bit.
