Birds singing in the rain, probably at least one nightingale. Humming of a small waterfall and a distant motorway in the background. Recorded around midnight, late may by the helsinki old town bay, by a dediduous forest. Recorded with iphone xi, no external microphone.

I went out back to record the robin and also noticed a smaller pileated woodpecker right over on the wood pile. Listen hard and you'll hear it peck the wood. That's the first sound you hear along with the robin and my neighbors kids. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony vegas with two track duplications. Audio from video clips recorded this morning, thurs 29 april 2021, in south yorkshire. Blue tit right at the start of the recording. Some breeze has got picked up by the microphone on the camera. The bluetits are nesting in our garden and i've been filming them coming and going. They often perch and sing before going into the nestbox. Sometimes it's other bluetits visiting the garden rather than just the two who are nesting.

I've recorded this oriental magpie robin in the philippines in a small province on the side of taal lake. Its melody is really cool ! the file was cleaned a little bit. I denoised it and got rid of some unecessary frequencies from the surrounding jungle.

I don't know what kind this was, but several red-headed woodpeckers appear at my feeder. I got just one series without background traffic noise. If you want to repeat it for effect, each series came 46 seconds apart. Probably how long it took him to eat the bugs he turned up.

This is a real nightingale recorded in real forest. In this sound you can hear some machine running near the forest. But not critical, i fixed it.

The haunting call of the pileated woodpecker, the largest woodpecker in the united states. It's quite an experience to hear this loud, rattling call break the stillness of the peaceful woods. You can also tell these beautiful birds around by looking for fairly large, rectangular holes in the trees. Recorded with my zoom h4n recorder and using the internal, built-in microphones. The location was the shawnee national forest.
