Recording in the city is hard but i found a small canyon made of rocks in a park which helped block out traffic noise. Equipment: rode ntg3, zoom h5, izoptope rx4. Ocean waves crashing onto the beach at three distances, close, near, far. There is a little automobile rumble in the background for the "near" and "far" section. In the "close" section you can hear the water being absorbed into the sand.
