Okay, i actually did make a rather horrorific sound, despite my slight dislike for the horror genre. I know. I contradict myself. Anyhow, this is actually the sound of me going up an escalator while i was at a conference. I came home later and didn't know what to do with the sound, so, out of boredom, i made this. By the way, that weird shriek at 1'46" was actually a young child who was running around somewhere in the building. This sound could be used for *contradiction!!* an atmosphere for a horror game or something like that. But don't try to make me play it, because i won't! okay, well maybe. Mangled with ableton live.

The sounds you hear in the recording at the same time happened at the same time, but not necessarily in the same place: for example, you can hear owls calling in the spanish night at almost the same time as kookaburras in the australian day.
