This sound was recorded with an ipod touch (5th gen). I was in need of some sword sound effects for a project i'm working on, and after i made these, i figured i'd give them away for free here on freesound!. The sound you hear is actually just a couple of large kitchen spatulas clashing together.

This is a recording of a giant steamship running from woods hole, ma to the island of martha's vineyard, arriving at the vineyard haven port. The sound is of the big engine, and a few other ambient sounds like pa announcements, etc.

Ambiance of staten island's south beach, with device facing the land and a distance boulevard (father capodanno boulevard). The atlantic ocean sprawls behind the recording device. Recording in the cafeteria of pompeu fabra university (poblenou campus). A sound of a metal knife and fork is the main sound and in the background we can hear the typical sound of a cafeteria with a lot of people. It was in the lunch time and the sound have high frecuencies due to the metal contact and middle-low frecuencies due to people talking.
