Bird sounds, mostly 'apapane, recorded on the edge of kilauea caldera on the island of hawai'i. Created on an iphone 4s using tinyvox pro. Samples trimmed and normalized, but otherwise unprocessed, using audacity on a macbook pro. Recorded on halema'uma'u trail inside of hawai'i volcanoes national park on 30 nov 2013 at about 2:00 pm.
Recorded in 2011 while coming out of the thurston lava tube in volcanoes national park on the island of hawaii. There was an incredible phasing sound that i missed while trying to get the recorder out, but you can hear a little at the beginning.
This is a recording taken out my bedroom window early in the morning. You will hear doves, mynah birds, shama thrushes (the beautiful warbly one) and of course our "beloved" wild chickens.
