The fourteen-tone series on which the melody "Libra" from Karlheinz Stockhausen's Tierkreis is based. Our town was testing the sewers somehow using audio tones to measure something. Maybe resonant frequency or something like that. It sounded vey musical since they were using 3 tones per octave, like a scale based on an augmented fifth chord.

This is a medium mid perspective point of view or water running through a storm drain. Location recording with a edirol r09 and a sony ecs ms 907 stereo microphone.

City sewer outflow to the baltic sea in gdynia, poland. Outflow dry, zoom h4n's internal mics placed 30 cm inside a sewer outflow (about 1m diameter) directly to the sea. No editing whatsoever. If you're as sick as me, you could hear the waves coming in and out of this tight pipe. . .

A sound made by compressing and warping and reversing simple vocals , like "hello" and "how are you" can be used for creepy alien sounds, or computer voices, made using the free audacity.

I've been creating background sound effects for a haunted house i work at. I've used sounds from this site to create a lot of them but, since this is 100% original i thought i'd give back. . . Created using an sm58 microphone, protools 9, a bathroom sink, and my voice. . .

This was water running slowly into the sewer from a pipe. It had a great natural echo.
