This sound just appeared in one of my recordings. Not propositional, but very cool. . . Sounds like some technological weapon, or some device being turned on or off. . . Use at will.

Short koto melody i created out of boredom. Done with dsk asian dreamz in fl studio 10.

This sound is a katana sword being swung close to the microphone it was recorded in a gym. It was recorded using a zoom h1 with foam windscreen attached. The clip was cleaned up (removed air condition sound) in adobe audition cs6. You can hear some handling of the sword at some points. Some swings have a higher pitch than others but this is the real thing.

Training before kempo (japanese martial art) combat. Close and far punches with gloves, background voices, breathings, foots sliding. Recorded in méxico city with a zoom h4n pro internal mics, x/y configuration at 120 degrees, in the corner of the training area. I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

The sound of a ninja going, “hi-yaa!” along with various other sounds among them. Performed by me while in the bathroom. Short reverb effect, as if it was in a small or medium room. Audio cut up and normalized.

Strange sound i made with garageband.

Made this in bitwig, i used 17 different layers to make this. A kick drum is added before the gunshot to add punch. Sub bass is synthesized for the deep lowend, 30-50hz. All layers were selected for certain frequencies using eq and then processed together with multiband compression. Shell sounds, mechanical noises were added for more depth. Using automation, the pitch, decay, and phase of every single layer used other than the subbass, morph to give life to the sound loop, and not sound robotic. Even though it "might" sound real, its an illusion of sounds being played from a midi clip. Enjoy.
