Intersection.

Binaural recording. Used in-ear microphones. It's the ambient sound of a rather big crossroads in munich, but with very few sunday traffic.

A first take over the main crossroad in carouge, geneva, usual street noise for a background. First test of a hand-made wind cover for my "minuscule" microphones in a windy environnement.

A noise of a large street in an average russian city. Summer. Rig:- mic: oktava mk-219- soundcard: m-audio fast track- pc: hp mini 210- software: ardour/jack.

Different sounds of traffic.

Hohner blues harp in c, played cross-harp (g major) for multiple “train whistle” sounds. First played high (d and f), then lower (b and d) , then a little faster. Recorded about 10 inches away with tascam dr-05. Multiple takes were trimmed and assembled in audacity.

Japanese traffic in the summer: passing cars and tracks and some motorcycles, cicadas, recorded with iphone, nearby crossroad of the six-lane road and a large park in tokyo. First 40 seconds is crossing the six-lane road. From 54 seconds cars in the six lanes start to come toward me and pass by. At the end of the audio, the signal turns to red again. Pedestrians cannot cross this road.

Sitting at a busy intersection at 3:00 in the afternoon with my window rolled down. No credit necessary, but as always, it is greatly appreciated.

Night time at an intersection in a residential part of tokyo. Normally the street is quite busy, but at 11 pm you can hear more discrete sounds, including people walking around. The only processing was trimming at mixdown of the 2 independent stereo tracks. Recorded with 4 mics.
