Org:8901/i used the filename of one of the recordings for part of this new dual receivers recording mixed in goldwave and time-synched by ear. Left channel is the pensylvania receiver, right channel is the uk receiver. Heard are various stations working or trying to work w1uuu in massachusetts including stations in the dominican republic, argentina, the ukraine, trinidad and tobago, colombia and florida. Some stations are heard better in pa, some better in the uk. Lots of static crashes heard from late spring lightning storms hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from both receivers. You can find over 100 receivers athttp://websdr. Org/most allow you to record, though some have a 15-minute timer.

I racking the action on a 12 gauge remington 870 shotgun. There is also the sound of the empty hull being dropped on the concrete floor. This is a field recording of the sound of market traders in central athens markets. It's the call of the fish traders but also the butchers whose markets circle the central fish markets. A place where the intensity of the rituals becomes a positive feedback loop reinforcing the intensity.
