Created for fun to document the first test launch of the (fictional) falkon8 space rocket to take humanity to the rings of saturn. After the countdown the engines start. During liftoff, ground control engineers talk to the pilots to help keep the rocket on the right course. The launch crew and pilots are talking in a particular regional northeastern italian dialect. The mission launched from the san marco platform, italian "luigi broglio" space center. I recorded my voice, layed it out on the track and increased the pitch quite drastically. I layered this with a chirp track so as to contrast the downward rhythm with an upward one. I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

An amplified version of thrusters_loop for a more intense effect. Has some nice rumbling and stereo sound. Created in fl studio with two white noise components, both with a low pass filter and one with an overdrive plugin. Edited in audacity.

A sound i made for a robot flight game once.

This is a countdown from 10 to 0. It was recorded using a røde nt-3 and then processed with varios effects. Good for a space or sci-fi themed piece.
