This is one of my favorite sounds to open my live sets with and is featured in my track water's bomb, as well as in the intro to the digital juggernauts album, "giant killer robots. " to make it, you use a sample of a plane flying over, i used a 707, and a djm-500's pitch shifter fx. As the sample gets longer, turn the pitch to the high end, then to the low end. Synthesized sound using vocodex, microtonic, and eqing using "giant block of metal hitting a metallic floor" as inspiration.

5 individual sounds created for a cyclops monster in a project that was cancelled before any real sound design could begin. This sound was created by recording various vocal noises and importing them into pro tools. Each vocal take was then pitch shifted down by -24 semitones and duplicated into 4-5 layers. These layers were processed individually using techniques such as reverse reverb, distortion and eq to emphasise different aspects of the creature's roar. The final sound is a result of all these layers playing simultaneously.

An artificial recording of an industrial breaker switch. This is a sound iv'e been in search of for a long time. So i decided to generate the sound myself and make it public to those who also need its use. Check out our other media services at: echocinematics. Com.

Here are the sounds i recorded:- the "loose parts" sounds were a slightly unscrewed valve on a trumpet. - the hydraulic leg-lifting noise was a hatch door opening on a van. - the metal foot hitting the ground was me banging on a metal garage door. - the humming engine noise (it's quiet) was a roll of duct tape spun on a wooden board. - the various other clanks and pops were the same trumpet noises, just edited a bunch. One day while playing the mobile game crossy road, i my sound being used for one of the characters. If you end up using my sound, let me know! i'd love to know what kind of things it's being used in. This is called "three-legged robot walker with loose parts" because it was a foley assignment for my sound design course years ago. This was one of the obscure things the professor gave the class that we had to interoperate and create using only our own recorded/edited foley effects. The class voted on the best one, and mine turned out to be the winner.

The giant 1000 liter wine tank at red maple vineyard in the hudson valley - west park, ny. This sounds amazing for "old vocals"a very springy plate tank reverb. Complex and colorful. White and pink noise was played through two speaker exciter transducers attached the outside of the tank. 12gaugemicrophones black212 blumlein microphone inside the tank into behringer xr18, logic pro.
