formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This is a small collection of splices from inside my modular and some field recordings. These recordings correspond with some of my influences and hobbies of skateboarding, scuba diving, and camping. With these in a morphagene one is able to have a small window into my brain and how i sometimes see modular music. All splices made to work well with the make noise music system. Enjoy. .

Bubbling sounds on exhale and regulator hiss during inhale. There is briefly a whizz sound from a rigid inflatable boat propeller passing nearby. Recorded with a contour+2 camera.

This is a machine i recorded from a lab that designs water meters, and other water movement equipment. It actually has nothing to do with breathing, but we joked that it had a vader like quality to it. Enjoy!.

Recorded during one of my scuba diving trips.

This underwater breathing was created in audacity. To create this sound i generated 2 tracks rhythms on 2 different mono tracks. For the breathing i created a rhythm "click noise" and added the effect "paulstrech". I deleted some moments of silences. I tried to simulate a heartbeat. I generated a rhythm tracks "noise click" and added the effect "echo". I selected in the track a sound wich looks like to a beat, cut the remain and add the repeated effect on the selected moment. I added bass to make the son more organic and reduced the gain. ---. Typologie/morphologie de shaeffer. Ce son est un mélange de continu complexe (x) et d'itération complexe (x''). Fill a cup with water from tap, pour into empty kettle, switch kettle on, when boiled pour water into cup and put kettle down to cool.

This is a noise made by sloshing water inside a metal bottle. Could be used to depict drowning.

Indian hand pumps are manually operated water pumps that are commonly used in rural areas of india. When i recorded the pump is in operation, you may hear the rhythmic sound of the handle being moved up and down, as well as the sound of water being sucked up from the ground and pushed up through the riser pipe and in addition to the sounds of the pump itself, you may also hear other ambient sounds in the village, such as the chatter of people going about their daily activities, the sounds of animals.

A few sporadic waterdrops. Just a random sound i've been making with my mouth ever since i was a little kid. At the right volume it's fairly convincing.
