Messing around in logic with some surround impulse responses and delay designs. Ended up with something that sounded a bit like a submarine sonar blip. . So i added the sound of a fridge, time stretched using the flex tool and pitch adjusted and now it sounds almost real :).

This is a 625hz active sonar ping, the type used for long range low resolution seafloor imaging or anti sumbarineuses. Note: this is an actual sonar ping, but of a type very rarelyused today. Most active sonar, especially anti submarine sonar, is14khz and up making it very difficult to hear.

I created these pings to sound like a submarine's sonar using surge (synthesizer) and rayspace (reverb).

Not too much action but it gives a good idea of how a quiet ambiences sound in ambisonic. You will need the sennheiser ambeo plugin in order to convert this recording into b-format.

This is a basic sonar bleep, blip, and actually the pings are bat chatter reworked in audacity.

I have recorded a sound made by crumpling a paper. Then i have recorded the noise made by scratching a streaked lid with a spoon. Then i have generated a pluck ( pitch 100), repeated it till the end, and added a “wahwha effect”. I used audacity.

I analyzed a recording of a submarine ping and then synthesized a facsimile using my own jsyd software. Jsyd can be found at http://www. Jbum. Com/syd.

Made using two synths. One is a noise generator that has been pitched down three octaves. It has a 12-hertz sine tremolo on either side, one of which is offset by half a wavelength. The other synth is a deep organ playing e3 and g3. I cut the sound in audacity, and the waves line up perfectly, so you don't need to worry about looping it badly.

I have created this sound that can be used for underwater need such as submarine etc or even an echo ping please feel free to use it.

These recordings correspond with some of my influences and hobbies of skateboarding, scuba diving, and camping. Old style digital explosions, three very slow. Sounds like either depth charges or above ground explosions similar to those in the missile command video game, with long digitally crackled ringouts.

Could be useful for an underwater scene involving a submarine of some kind,sci fi uses also.
