Some interesting play with noise, filter, pulse width and the internal spring reverb of the synthesizer. Recorded through an ssl superanalogue preamplifier at line level, uad-2 apollo 8 adc. It was a very cold and windy day when i visited the mile high swinging bridge at the top of grandfather mountain. Unfortunately, i did not have a windscreen, so there is a bit of noise in the recording of the "singing" bridge. The reason i say "singing" is that the high winds were blowing through the 228-foot long suspension bridge bars making a haunting sort of song. It is considered the highest suspension footbridge in north america at just over a mile high.

My great-uncle and great-aunt have an old grandfather clock. It doesn't quite work right and only chimes 7 times at 12 o'clock, so i had to record it at 11 and add another chime. Nonetheless, it makes for a great ambient sound, especially in a horror setting. I recorded it with my tablet (samsung galaxy tab a) and edited it with audacity (added in an extra chime, converted it to stereo, etc. ).
