The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.

I recorded this from my bedroom window at night. There were cars going by on the road so i tried to filter those sounds out. It's pretty hard to pull this off. Hope it sounds good!. Tools used:sony cybershot cameraaudacity (editing).

Crickets in a very humid and warm part of texas, some water movement and owls in bg, very dense and strident crickets, recorded at 48-16 with portable dat using schoeps ms ball, edited and decoded in stereo in pt.

Heard a barred owl calling in my backyard. Grabbed my zoom h4n with audio-technica at897 shotgun mic and started recording. Did some minor equalization to soften the higher frequencies and roll off the low end. Crickets are chirping in the background, a few other insects make some sounds. Soft droning of a couple planes flying by and vehicles from a highway about a mile away, but do not overpower the barred owl.

Cicadas recorded from my balcony in a melbourne suburb at night. Cyclochila australasiae, the sound they make is around 4. 3khz. Recording was done with a roland r-26 using built in omni mics, and noise was removed with izotope plugins.

I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Distant sound of a marching band as they move down corso umberto in taormina. I was climbing down the path above the town in the early evening and the sound carried up out of the narrow streets nicely. Some handling sounds at the beginning. Free to use in anything.
