Really loud powerfull thunder sound recorded with a t. Bone sc140 stereoset in the mountains of madrid. It is clipped but it sunds nice.

This is a recording i took while out in a farmer's field in new england on a rainy evening. The crackling you can hear is the rain drops. In the background there are insects, birds, and frogs audible. This recording is on the quiet side, volume might need to be adjusted.

Caught a heavy downpour while at home and figured i'd capture it for posterity. The recording features rumbling thunder, an ambulance in the distance and a piston airplane flying over. The storm gradually drops in intensity.

I made this binaural recording while standing on a suburban street in the middle of a thunderstorm (in my socks) carrying an umbrella. There are some nice lightning strikes, and birds can be heard in the background. ----recorded with two sony lavalieres -> a zoom h1 (with home-made felt windscreens).

Thunderstorm recorded in my back garden, evening late spring. Zoom h1.

Recorded in stockholm a rainy summer day. Standing on the 6th floor recording from the balcony. The storm starts close and moves away from the mic. I picked up some cars in the clip, and the neighbours shouts at 09:10. Recorded with a zoom h6 in stereo.

The recording starts with gentle rain and slow thunder rolling across the sky. The thunder is predominantly in the first half of the recording. The rain increases in intensity in the second half, peaking about three-quarters of the way through. Recorded on a sheltered, outdoor stairway, in a suburban location in south-eastern england, in august 2013; using a zoom h2n recorder set on mid-side stereo, at a 120 degree spread. The original recording was heavily edited, to remove traffic, trains, planes and parakeets(!). Some light, occasional, background traffic noise remains, however.

It's snowing in october. . . In kansas. I guess winter came really early. (the leaves haven't even fallen off the trees, not to mention they are still green) so, i decided to record the sound of "snain". Enjoy! please credit me if you use it! :).

I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute. Very atmospheric recording of rain and thunder. You can hear some birds and even church bells in the background and some human noises if you listen carefully.

Summer rain falling at various levels of intensity. Occasional droplets hit a wooden porch. Audio has been denoised, equalized, and leveled to peak at no higher than -6 db. Waveform audio, 96000 sample rate, 24 bps, stereo.
