The recording starts with gentle rain and slow thunder rolling across the sky. The thunder is predominantly in the first half of the recording. The rain increases in intensity in the second half, peaking about three-quarters of the way through. Recorded on a sheltered, outdoor stairway, in a suburban location in south-eastern england, in august 2013; using a zoom h2n recorder set on mid-side stereo, at a 120 degree spread. The original recording was heavily edited, to remove traffic, trains, planes and parakeets(!). Some light, occasional, background traffic noise remains, however.

I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute. This sound of mine is for anyone to use, no credit needed, but it would be nice if you could tell me what your going to use it for, if possible, that would be fun. :) http://creativecommons. It's snowing in october. . . In kansas. I guess winter came really early. (the leaves haven't even fallen off the trees, not to mention they are still green) so, i decided to record the sound of "snain". Enjoy! please credit me if you use it! :).

A sudden thunderstorm was making a peculiar noise while water dripped off my balcony, so i went out and captured it as the rain slowly decreased and eventually stopped. Recorded with zoom h4n pro.

I was running outside in the afternoon. I recorded the sound with a zoom h6. It was on concrete with shoes on. It was a windy day.

I was doing a tapping like dance. Its not very loud. There is no music just the dancing sound.

Recorded in a backyard in kibbutz mefalsim, israel. 27/03/2020 friday afternoon 15:57 you can hear birds, the sound of leaves, wind and car on the road (the apartment is close to the main gate) you can also hear trucks leaving and entering the kibbutz's factory and tractors rushing towards the end of the day.

Using beepbox. Co, i accidentally made a sound similar to my fm radio being unable to pick up a station. I keep my radio in my basement, so sometimes it can't pick up some frequencies right away, producing this noise.

September 19, 2020 shenzhen, china tested the air raid system. Sorry for the background noise. I was standing on a city street on a rainy day and the cars made a lot of noise driving through the wet streets. I'm not sure if they do this test every year but i do remember they did it last year. I'm also not sure if this is province wide (guangdong) or maybe even country wide. The government let us know about a week earlier that they would do the test. If they let me know one day or even better one hour before the test, i may have been able to get to a quieter area for a better recording. There were some tests earlier with longer tones but my recording had even more background noise and this was the best one.

Feel free to use this underwater ambient sound wherever you want.

A pedestrian crossing in the inner city of stockholm/sweden, on the intersection of the mäster samuelsgatan and the drottinggatan. It is a rainy afternoon and there is a fair amount of pedestrian and automobile traffic underway. The recorder is on street level, pedestrians can be heard speaking swedish, german, russian and a variety of other languages. Near the end of the recording, a can rolls across the pavement near the crossing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.

Proper rainforest simulation this- a low-pass filter self-oscillating, with a lot of modulation, run through both a delay and a reverb. The result was not recorded off the mixer, but by means of a hand-held zoom h1n, giving it an ‘outdoor’ ambience.

The random rainstorm in the middle of winter may have flooded my apartment, but at least i got a nice recording out of it.
