I got the idea to speed it up from listening to some radio commercials where the person talks a mile a minute to cram as many words into the commercial as possible. I needed the sound of stamping letters in a post office. (for background use)i could not find any good, so i made this. I used to work in a postoffice, and i think the sound is pretty close. Nagra ares m with improved xy mic. I used a little (-6db) izotope2 nr.

This is static actually coming from my radio but its plugged into the same cord as my tv & they are very close together. So it's actually interference. Also the proximity of my phone gives more sound (ringy static). That really awesome modulating sound is the moment between clicking the on button & the picture coming on the screen. 2nd try was better after i adjusted the tuner a bit.
