This is a recording of scrap metal collection taken in pilton, edinburgh in august of 2022 at 4:40pm in the afternoon. The first thirty seconds are the sounds of scrap metal being loaded onto the truck (a trampoline if i remember correctly) and some talking. Then you hear the truck start up, and the message through the megaphone "any old scrap metal!" followed by a list of scrap metal items. At this point the truck is slowly driving away. This was recorded with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.
Two neumann km76 set to omni, protected by a dead cat. Placed in a garden under a tree one sunny and slightly windy saturday afternoon. Recorded to nagra lb.
Ambiance from a restaurant. Could be used for walla-walla. If conversations are noticeable they are most likely my own. Recorded with a marantz solid-state recorder and omni-directional mic.
This is a recording i made of the ambience at our local diner one man band-- it's a staple of our local culture and still maintains a, "50s diner" kind of atmosphere-- something you can feel in the air when you visit the place-- i hoped to capture that dynamic with this recording-- the sound of utah-- something lost in time and yet so progressional. The sound of a culture being brought to its adolescence.
This is the unique sound of two clocks, both sitting on a shelf in my living room. Although this sound is completely free to use without credit, i would appreciate it if give me credit if you happen to use this sound.
Wav-file recorded with the zoom h6 with stereo microphone. The recorder was sitting on the clock. You hear the room noise of a kitchen. Bonny orbit sound library.
Six strikes of the bell in the tower clock of the church of sainte marie in moureze, southern france, with high pass filtering. Recorded on a windy day. See photo of church tower and two of it's bells here. Recording position was on edge of a small square some meters towards the church. Https://flic. Kr/p/vpw5ar.
Studiorecording of time ticking away. I used a small, older alarmclock. You hear its clockwork ticking in two steps each second. Mild noise reduction was applied.
Ticking s/fx. Good for many clock or watch sounds. It is actually a taylor mechanical kitchen timer. It was recorded with a contact mic in anechoic chamberclock_02 is the same timer but was recorded with an external mic, and has a thinner sound, more like a wrist watch type sound. All the files in this pack can be seamlessly looped.
Weird sounds my earphones are making when i move mouse on my lenovo thinkpad. Noise removed with audacity, in some part the mouse is moved about 120 bps tempo. Recorded with paw 120 internal mic.
A power chord recorded with an ibanez, processed through guitar rig and some other guitar amps, and time-streched with paulstretch. Two recordings used for stereo. I also added some reverse reverb.
