Recorded with a zoom h4n in 44100 hz stereo. This is recorded in a small high school gym with a small crowd. Lots of sneaker squeaks, whistles, crowd reaction and at the end, a buzzer.

My first upload to freesound. A trial on the recording front too as it is an mp3. I'll try wav next time as it's better quality.

Ice hockey game, amateur, no audience, indoors arena. I don't even like hockey :(.

This is a (mediocre) recording of gym lights being powered on. There is the distinct hum of the transformer/capacitor or whatever helps power them running in the background and then a distinctive click and electronic thud as the lights come on followed by the buzz of the overhead lights as they are warming up. Recording is a 24 bit stereo wav file. Literally using a "motivational speaker" tape found in a box (full of several more of these god awful things!) while digging through the neighborhood trash to test out and setup a pitch-shifted vocal patch for my noisecore project. Effects used: danelectro fish & chips eq, korg ax3g multi-effect, and alesis nanoverb direct to sound card. Processed in goldwave(compression to reduce peaks and fading on the beginning/end. ).

This is a slow, low pitched, boom that has been reversed and reverb effect has been added to it. Perfect for a eerie atmosphere! created using fl studio 10, using their kick sound. This is my first sound. Enjoy.

This is from the stands of a lively little league baseball game (ages 9-10). There is a lot of cheering from the crowd, as well as chanting from the teams. Also, you'll hear the umpire and the crack of the bat!.

Created this sound by pulling apart a plastic tooth brush holder while covering ends. Sounds like a tennis ball being volleyed.

I accidentally made this in audacity adjusting the tempo of a chime sound effect, but maybe it has uses elsewhere. Sounds to me like a game show "wrong answer" sound effect or a magic spell that fails to cast.
