This is an underwater ambient loop i created for a game-jam project. Since the project was nothing but good fun, i have uploaded some of the more useful sounds to freesound. Org for everyone to use. The sound was created by layering hydrophone recordings with filtered noise.

Water running down the drain.

Bubbles in water. Great for a blowing bubbles in milk sound effect, or underwater bubble sounds.

Recorded with rode videomicntg. Raw so you can edit as you please. Me using a large tube to create bubbles in a sink.

Experimenting with reverb and frequency on my "meaty gunshot. Wav" sfx resulted in this; hopefully this conveys the audible sense that the gunshot is being fired underwater. Created and edited with audacity.

A water pump which i recorded in my basement. The recording was done through a fireface 400 with a neumann / gefell m71 on a mv691.

A watery rumble, made using roughly the same process as ambient_loop2 but with more editing.

The sound of my gas meter in a cupboard, it sounds like human body sounds, like digestion. Can be used for the ambiance of a basement or cellar.

Underwater crunch fx.

Underwater sound, recorded with an action cam while i was doing snorkeling.

Made using two synths. One is a noise generator that has been pitched down three octaves. It has a 12-hertz sine tremolo on either side, one of which is offset by half a wavelength. The other synth is a deep organ playing e3 and g3. I cut the sound in audacity, and the waves line up perfectly, so you don't need to worry about looping it badly.
