A sound of a sci-fi sniper rifle and reload. Made in ableton 10 with the help of xfer serum and a bunch of processed and resampled oneshots (which were also made either in serum, or granulator, or some other processing tools).
This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.
Other placesrecorder: zoom h2 / other portable devicesoftware: pro tools / audacity / ocenaudio / reaper. Your comments are greatly appreciatedcheers, piotr zaczek.
This is a little mixup i did to get the gunshot sound i wanted for a action video, hope you guys like it. I used alot of different samples from freesound and wanted to share my result with you.
Smg sound made with another toy gun. Og sound used to be more cartoonish, but after removing the speakers it sounds a lot like a true smg! (+ small reload sound at the end).
Mascletà (rythmical composition of firecrackers blasts typical of valencia) recorded at 1000m distance from a roof-top terrace. The firecrackers blasts create a war-like ambience, with the sounds of the city mixed with the distant shots. Recorded with head-worn binaural soundman okm microphones. Some distortion due to the wind.
Machine gun noises. What else do you expect? recorded with a 3$ mic from goodwill with an old airsoft gun thats been sitting outside in the dirt for a year.
