I put a plastic container lid under that for sound to be more pronounced, but that added crunchiness and now it doesn’t resemble dripping as much. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised in audacity plus filtered bass out a bit. P. S. I need to say that i foolishly recorded it into an im app and the recording ended up as. Ogg, so it’s not as good as could be. Still i hope there is enough spectral richness left. I should have used a dedicated recording app which writes. Flac files, i just hadn’t thought. Hound dog on a walk in the rain came upon a puddle of clear water. For the benefit of getting the audio, i allowed him to drink. Have to watch him because he'd drink brackish water anyplace.

This strange sound was produced by sliding a empty bottle upside down through a glass of water, changing its resonance and the frequency of the sound. Recorded with focusrite solo, sennheiser 64.

Hydrophone recording taken from a boat anchored in a cove off the island of hvar (croatia): continuous crackle, probably produced by pistol shrimps, with random frog-like sounds. Mono, hydrophone (jrf).
