Xy stereo recording from gärdet subway station in stockholm. This focuses on an older trains doors, various steams and similar "heavy" sound elements. In post: edited in pro tools with som bass cutting (eq) and automation to make some sounds stand out but still sound realistic. Put on a light compressor and pich-shifted down some elements to give more depth. This was in someway inspired by "dead space" tram and door sounds but slightly less "massive" and haunting. Ps. There's 2 versions of this recording. The one with "nr" in the title is noise reduced so sounds like the doors and steam are somewhat separated from the background. Hope you like it.

This recording was made at 3pm on wednesday october 5 2022 in a huge, 70-plus acre, abandoned farm field. A field bordered thousands of acres of state-owned forest. The soft peeps of the few remining birds, grubbing around for protein-packed insects is the soundtrack. At 5 minutes into this recording a delightful, friendly exchange between two birds as if they are saying "hey, let's help each other find food before this field is blanketed with snow at cold. ". At 7:05 in this recording a truck slowly drives by, softly crunching gravel and the driver slows down to witness this annual, melancholy autumnal change. I made this recording by using a metal shovel and ramming it into the icy snow. The snow has been around for a couple months now and has been rained on and turned to tiny ice crystals. It sounds like it could be sand, grainy dirt or rock dust.

Walking a dog in a small forest park in a nice summer warm dry weather. Mainly you can hear footsteps, birds, sometimes the (midsized) dog going by and breathing. Rarely cars in distance. Very calm quiet track, the dog doesnt bark. Its more relaxing.
