This is a rainfall recording for 3 hours from 14th september 2014 over pécel, hungary. I recorded this by my sony stereo dicatphone for tealc166 but of course everyone can listen to it.
Cicadas of south city at summer night recorded from a window. Hi-pass filtered of various car sounds, and so timbre is not so natural — but maybe it’s what you are looking for?. Recorded by nokia 700, processed in audition.
Crickets recorded on august night in mount sinai, n. Y. In an open expanse between two large oak trees. Recorded on a zoom h4n, 48khz 24 bit, high pass filter and noise reduction.
My first recorded sound! it's actually just 6 secs long. I was on a vacation yesterday to a cottage resort, but it was a really rainy day. I decided to take out my $300 samsung to record a bit of the rain. I had the quality at 22khz, so the quality kinda sucks but it's still ok. I also have 2 more sounds (i couldn't record any more because my mic on the tablet broke and it only picks up static).
Heavy rain with thunder, interior perspective near windowsome movement heard on the backgroundrecorded using zoom h1. You are free to use it anywhere and mix it with anything. No credits required. If used, feel free to leave a link to your product in comments :).
A very typical recording of late summer as the insects wake up. This recording was done in the backyard in a small town around 5:00 in the morning. Just a wonderful example of the very rhythmic, ebb and flow that these choruses of summer make. I used my zoom h4n recorder with its internal built-in microphones with the volume set on 78. .
Long segment recorded in a catholic church before the start of mass. Great for use as background noise for people shifting around in the pews and moving around the church.
Rain and thunders in the distance, in a forest near cividale (udine, italy), summer 2013, recorded with zoom h4n, sennheiser shotgun mic and rode blimp.
Cricket ambience, recorded on a humid evening in the summer of 2011. Some gentle wind noise through the trees is also audible, as are some distant motorcycles and an airplane flying overhead. (the wind noise on the mic briefly becomes loud a few times, but the recording is mostly clean. ).
