A chicken yard in the transsylvanian village of țichindeal/romania. Some 300 chickens, along with 2 pigs and some geese are going about their business, a farmhand can be heard filling a water trough at the beginning. Slightly more wide-angle than the two other chicken yard recordings. Recorded with a rode nt-sf1 and matrixed to stereo.
Sounds and music from a local party in the village of ziros, eastern crete. First 3 minutes are of general background ambience followed by an 8 minute dance song played by a local folk band. This was a single take with no editing applied. Permission to record this was obtained from the band and the song (to manousaki) is traditional cretan and in the public domain.

The sounds of a peaceful old farming village. People going about their day, chickens and goats kept in pens nearby can be heard. A blacksmith taps away at his anvil in the background.
Gamarjveba is a georgian village, where i grew up. Literal translation of the village means “to win”. I recorded this sound in 2015. Went to fields where we used to have lot’s of apricot trees. This is a recording of the ringing of a bell near a small church in belgium. I recorded it with my small tsacam dr-40 in a-b setting. There's some noise due to wind but not on the whole sample. . . And. . . We can hear angry birds too. . .
