In couros, guimarães, portugal, there is a river going through abandoned factories, housing, in the middle of the city. It served the old tanneries' tanks, dating probably 1000 years. I recorded this while walking alongside it. With my zoom h6, with the msh-6 mic, fully opened. September, 2020.

(recorded on sunday november 30th, 2019)this particular " scene " is the result of a 2 inch deep flow of water suddenly dropping over several medium-sized old rocks. In a few days, this flow will cease and the creek-bed will revert back to its typical, meandering , dry rocky path through the woods. Enjoy. I was trying to make some floaty meditation type music like people use for hypnotherapy and yoga and stuff but accidentally made something fractionally too menacing. To me it sounds like something you might have in the background of a scene where viewer is contemplating an unexpected cosmic vastness or an ancient alien artefact or something otherwise mindblowing but also potentially existentially threatening.
