I deleted parts with handling noise and normalized the sound. For a quick drag and drop in a video editing project and such. It's not perfect and i may have missed some handling noise hence "rough cleanup". But it's a bit better :)if this will be background noise in a video/music, you'll probably lower the volume and the handling noise will become much less apparent. Common terns are pale gray overall with a black cap. Breeding birds have a fully black cap that extends to the back of the neck and a gray belly. Terns comes from lac des chanteraines next to paris. I love listen to terns next to highway. It’s a pretty shocking contrast of noise pollution.

Recorded late summer/early autumn by a lake in rural ontario. I was trying to record the sound of six loons calling to each other, but was interrupted by an aggressive chipmunk who had decided that the lakeside was his and his alone. I recorded anyway. Recorded using an h2n zoom recorder, using the m/s raw setting.
